Apache MINA is a network application framework which helps users develop high performance and high scalability network applications easily. It provides an abstract · event-driven · asynchronous API over various transports such as TCP/IP and UDP/IP via Java NIO.

Apache MINA is often called:

  • NIO framework · library,
  • client · server framework · library, or
  • a networking · socket library.

Apache FtpServer 1.0.2 released

The Apache MINA project is pleased to announce the release of FtpServer 1.0.2.

This release fixes the issues found since the release of 1.0.1. Some of these issues are related to the stability of running FtpServer and thus we recommend all users to upgrade to this release. We consider this a stable and production ready release.

Apache MINA 2.0.0-M6 release

The Apache MINA project is pleased to announce the release of MINA 2.0.0-M6.

This is another bug fix release that was inserted before the first Release Candidate to get some important bug fixes out. The aim is still make the next release the first Release Candidate.
